Our Location

East Texas Psychiatry and Counseling is located at 100 Independence Pl, Suite 307, Tyler, TX 75703, just off Loop 323 and easy to reach from across East Texas. The office is set up to feel calm and unhurried from the moment you arrive, with convenient parking and a private waiting area. We see patients in person here throughout the week, and we also care for people across the rest of the state by secure video. If you're not sure whether an in-person or virtual visit is the better fit, our team is glad to help you decide when you call.

Our Tyler office is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. New-patient appointments are typically available within the same week, and we do our best to find a time that works around your schedule for both first visits and follow-ups. Because we keep first appointments unhurried — about 90 minutes — we schedule carefully, so calling ahead helps us reserve the right amount of time for you. We offer both. You can be seen in person at our Tyler office or by secure, private video anywhere in Texas — and that includes your full first evaluation, not just brief follow-ups. Telepsychiatry uses the same board-certified providers and the same standard of care; the only thing that changes is where you sit. Many patients mix the two over time, starting in person and continuing by video as their needs and schedules change, or the reverse. To meet by video, all you need is a quiet, private space and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera.

We operate from a single office in Tyler, but our reach extends across the entire state through secure video visits. That means patients in smaller East Texas communities — and anywhere else in Texas — can work with our providers without a long drive or time away from work and family. For most people this offers the best of both worlds: a real local clinic when you want to be seen in person, and convenient virtual care when travel isn't practical. Wherever you are in Texas, you can see the same provider consistently from one visit to the next.

We will let you know what to bring and answer any questions about insurance or what to expect, so there are no surprises on the day of your visit.
