He began his medical career in 1987, serving in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman.
Antonio Brigham is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and co-founder of East Texas Psychiatry and Counseling. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Antonio's professional journey is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a commitment to holistic patient care. He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), the terminal practice-focused degree in nursing.

During your evaluation, your psychiatric provider will review your history and current medications to determine whether SPRAVATO® is an appropriate option for you.

Your initial comprehensive psychiatric evaluation lasts approximately 90 minutes. This allows time to thoroughly discuss your concerns, medical history, symptoms, and collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan addressing your unique needs.
Early in treatment, appointments occur every two to four weeks for monitoring. As symptoms stabilize, visits become less frequent. Between appointments, our patient portal provides secure messaging and prescription refill requests.
